Via Normale to Monte Pelmo

Monte Pelmo is one of the most imposing and isolated Dolomite peaks, dominating the Val di Zoldo.

The normal route takes place on the south-eastern slope, in the first section along the famous ‘ball ledge’, which has some very exposed sections although protected by some fixed ropes. In the second section, however, the climb is strenuous but without any technical difficulties except for a short, delicate passage along the terminal ridge.
