Climbing in Verdon

Six days of climbing in the European "temple" of Freeclimbing.

The most beautiful limestone in the world, the cradle of sport climbing in Europe: this is the Verdon.

Here the "moulinette" technique was born as, moreover, the "bolting" from above for obvious reasons, which are intuited from the first time you lean out from the balustrade of the "Belvedere".

Peculiar, fascinating and exciting is to get to the attack of the routes, abseiling into the deep canyon of perfect red and gray limestone.

An immense "air hole" to climb for lines that have marked the history of modern climbing. Historic routes in which Europe's greatest climbers have tried their hand.

The Verdon slabs are a stage for the world's elite, and today more than ever it remains the primordial attraction of these wild environments.

We will climb by rappelling from the canyon rim, either by top-rope or first-rope, on single-pitch and multi-pitch routes of all difficulties, starting with numerous 5a routes.

NOTE: The program will be studied on site each day with the participants (e.g., more long routes, more sport climbing, etc.)
