The Dolomites at night, only moonlight illuminating the route and the mountains around.
The Zoldo Valley and neighboring areas such as Rocca Pietore and Selva di Cadore offer numerous opportunities for snowshoe-friendly routes with two- to three-hour-long trails that will put us in the mood to enjoy a typical mountain dish.
Some of our favorite destinations are: The east shoulder of Pelmetto, near the famous Dinosaur footprints with optional dinner at Passo Staulanza, Val di Mondeval in Selva di Cadore with typical dinner at the Flora Alpina refuge, slopes of Civetta arriving at the Sorgenti del Fiume Maè to stop at the Casot refuge, Vach lake at the village of Pralongo or the Franzei valley in the locality of Malga Ciapela.
